ASOS Midi Dress in Stripe With Scoop Back; J.Crew Factory Jean Jacket; Ralph Lauren Zabrina Pumps; Bauble Bar Sparkle Anchor Studs; H&M Belt |
Midi dresses are supposed to reach well below the knee or to mid-calf. Because I'm tall, the "midi" dress I'm wearing above falls just below my knee. Not a problem! It's perfectly long enough and I don't have to worry about bending over! Win!
Here are some tips on how to wear midi dresses (or any below-the-knee dresses, for that matter):
- Pair with a pump or wedge to look less frumpy
- Layer with a cropped jacket or cardigan to keep a long leg line
- Add a belt to define the waist

You are very pretty!

I've had some problems with ASOS dresses because most of them are too short or hit at an awkward length. But this one is really lovely! I love their designs but since the proportions aren't tall friendly, I pretty much gave up on shopping there. But thanks to your post, I may just venture and look for some midi dresses myself! I love how you tied in the belt with the shoes.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of the color of the shoe? The reason I ask is because it looks different on each website I check so I'm not sure which is the correct one. Would you please share the name of the color of the pump? Thanks!
It's called "Polo Tan"
DeleteI agree. ASOS is my go to place for dresses. Their "midi" section is amazing for tall girls like us. BTW I love that outfit on you! Gorgeous.
