I've been wearing a lot of color lately, but sometimes it's nice to play with neutrals (black, brown, gray, navy blue, tan, white, etc.). Oftentimes, I find that wearing all neutrals makes me feel more sophisticated. It's a very understated but classy way to dress. I generally like to jazz up neutrals with some sparkle―above I chose a mix of gold and silver metallic.
There's nothing tall about this outfit. I bought the regular-sized skirt from Marshalls and the regular-sized shirt from Ann Taylor. With skirts and tops, I rarely ever have to buy tall sizes. Maybe that's why I wear so many pencil skirts! It's dresses and pants that I always have trouble with.
Tall Readers - Do you ever have trouble finding skirts and tops that fit?
Speaking of neutrals, Nordstrom is having their anniversary sale. Check out their nude pointy Ivanka Trump "Abello" flats:

I love this chic look!
ReplyDeleteThe pencil skirt looks great on you! How do you find the AT perfect pumps to fit?
ReplyDeleteThanks! The AT perfect pumps are almost perfect. They fit true to size and are really comfortable - I can run around in them for hours without my feet hurting. The heel is a bit wobbly and the toe box is a little short, but otherwise, I love them!
DeleteThank you! Just took a look at your blog -- love your style and your shoe collection!!
